Central dashboard for org owners and admins: manage seats, AI credit pool, members (students and teachers), academic terms, departments/cohorts, and billing. Includes an onboarding checklist and audit log.

Member table: search by roll number, email, or name; change roles; suspend/remove
CSV bulk import with dry-run preview: create or link members with auto-detected conflicts
Org-assigned display names, roll numbers (students), and staff IDs (teachers)
Org timezone: all due dates and test windows computed in the org's local timezone
Grade schemes: percentage, letter + GPA bands, or custom pass marks

Classes & Classwork

Teachers create and manage classes with full roster control. Works for both fixed classroom (school sections) and flexible course registration (FFCS/university-style).

Fixed-classroom model: admin creates cohorts (e.g., "Grade 8-A"), teacher attaches cohort → roster auto-syncs
FFCS model: per-student enrollment via CSV import, join code, or direct teacher-add; capacity limits

Courses & Live AI Learning (Org)

Teachers design courses in the institutional interface. Students learn via the live AI teaching engine — all AI usage is metered to the organization's AI pool, not student personal accounts.

Assignments & Submissions

Teachers publish assignments with attachments, due dates, and rubrics. Students submit online. Teachers grade with AI draft feedback — always reviewed and approved before students see results.

Rubric grading: define criteria and scoring levels per assignment
AI draft feedback: AI suggests a score and rubric-anchored comment; teacher must approve before publishing

Exam Engine

Full exam authoring, scheduling, and auto-grading with AI assist. Question creation, scheduled windows, per-student time limits, light proctoring, and an AI draft grading system for subjective answers.

Question types: MCQ (single/multi), true/false, short answer, long answer, fill-in-the-blank
AI question generation from the class's course documents (flagged as AI-generated; teacher reviews)
Paste-import: paste questions from Word/PDF → AI parses to structured format
Scheduled window: questions only sent when the exam is live; clock computed server-side
Light proctoring: fullscreen, tab-switch, and paste events logged; configurable flag threshold
AI draft grading for subjective answers: teacher reviews and approves before returning to students

Gradebook, Analytics & Calendar

Unified gradebook across assignments and tests. Class analytics, at-risk detection, and a calendar view for students and teachers.

Identity, Billing & Data Hosting

Separate identity realm for institution admins. Org data is region-pinned at creation. Flexible deployment: cloud, self-hosted VM, or campus self-host under institution's own domain.

Architecture & Deployment

The institutional platform is designed for maximum deployment flexibility — from cloud hosting (GCP Mumbai for India orgs) to full campus self-hosting under the institution's own domain. All configuration is via environment variables; no code changes required to switch topology.
